Something that caught my attention ad I want to share about the articles is the importance of vocabulary and the connection with the reading comprehension. Is well known that multimedia and the effects of multimedia software's has relationship between the acquisition of vocabulary
development and reading comprehension. As teachers we can take in consideration some principles aspects related to the use of CALL in vocabulary and reading development. First, we as teachers should pay more attention to the existence of various teaching tools. Second, we should introduce multimedia-glossed texts into the vocabulary/reading class. Third, as teachers we should be acquainted with the criteria for software and courseware evaluation. Finally, we should keep up with current methodology and make best use of visuals and multimedia.
Also, there is information about diferent types of dictionaries, and the article provide information about the one that is better for the students that is corpus based dictionaries, that are different to the ones of general use, because the last one is focused for native speakers, and not for foreing language learners.

ResponderEliminarI totally agree with your comment, because nowadays tool are more accessible for us, we have access to internet, videos, audios, books, articles, applications, different activities, etc. that must be applied by us to make classes more interesting and become students as learners. It is totally understandable sometimes could be difficult to explain or apply and could be at some point bored but by practicing it more and more we will gain experience and we will be able to improve our selves and apply those methods at the best way possible. As well we have monitor, visual equipment, we can use together and develop our classes. I hope everyone use and take advantage from this information.
